So by the time I decided to drive a few hours to totality for the Great American Eclipse, I couldn’t find solar glasses in stock anywhere. So, as a last resort I ordered these Sunoculars. Boy am I glad I couldn’t get the glasses because these are so very cool. I couldn’t wait to get them out of the box to have a look at the late afternoon sun. It looked so eerie and cool…almost like the moon. I can’t wait til Monday to watch as the eclipse approaches totality. I can tell you NO one would get these away from me during the event. I’m a bit of a geek about toys and such so these are right up my alley…and they are very nicely made. Definitely a quality binocular. I see these as being a pretty cool beach accessory too, along with my regular binoculars.

I purchased the Sunoculars to vew the eclipse on 8/21/17. The product greatly enhanced the viewing of the event for me and my family. I am very happy I purchased a pair. This is a great product.

Worked great. I was at about 60-65% totality, but they worked well enough to enjoy the solar spectacle.
I still use them to gaze at the sun now and then.

These worked great for the solar eclipse that I saw total blackout in Paducah, KY. Worth every penny. It is also cool to be able to look at the sun during a normal day.
