Working great on the days before the eclipse – should help to get a better view on the day of.

After doing some research on safety, I ordered these LUNT Sunoculars. They arrived quickly and really made my view of the eclipse memorable. The magnification was perfect and really enhanced the view. I am so glad that I ordered these They are well made, nothing visible but the sun (nothing else should be). The field of view is narrow as some other reviews mention, but totally adequate and preferable for viewing the sun, and nothing else. The sunoculars arrived in time for me to have had a few days to practice with them ahead of the eclipse. The day after the eclipse, my eyes are as good as they were before. Perfect.

These were great for the eclipse in 2017 and I continue to use them to do solar observation in conjunction with a solar filter for my Celestron telescope. I thoroughly enjoy these and I recommend them highly! They are better, or as good as, others of a higher price.

These are great, and do precisely what they say on the box. Everything is black except for the sun, so they are a little hard to aim until you get the hang of it. But they are a fun little tool for anyone interested in amateur astronomy. I bought them for the 2017 eclipse, but I realized that they are great for viewing sunspots any time of year. Now I try to check for sunspots periodically, which is pretty cool.
